When you access the web, the IP checker you use would create a browser fingerprint based on the IP address settings you are using. this way, they would be a match and the website would recognize you. what the IP checker does here is to modify the time zone and country so that they would be a match with the IP address.

If you choose to use a proxy, the IP checker would first confirm that the proxy is valid. After this check has been concluded and the proxy is valid, the IP checker would alter your browser fingerprints. The alteration would be based on the IP settings of the proxy to ensure a match.

The IP checker runs in the background and automatically adjusts location settings and fingerprints whenever you use a new proxy. Differences in IP settings and browser location settings can ruin your task due to blocks but an IP checker helps you prevent this.

You would always see your proxy locations on the interface, or you can check location manually.

If you wish to create your browser fingerprint, you have the option to override IP checker. This way, the IP checker wouldn’t automatically adjust your browser fingerprint settings to match that of your proxy. You would have to do it yourself. This however isn’t recommended unless you know what you are doing.

IP checker, just as anything else has been upgraded to ensure you get better security and location checks. Since IP checks and matching now takes place dynamically, the accuracy would be improved.

To confirm that your browser location settings have changed, you can either use google maps or Whoer IP checker.

With Whoer, launch the website after you have connected to a proxy and note the IP address and system location. Both of them would match if your IP checker worked, and you may now proceed without fear of any red flags being raised.

You can also visit google maps and allow google to access your device’s location. If your IP checker worked, your location would be the same as that of your IP address. but if it didn’t work, they would be different.

Such differences are suspicious and are the reason why many websites block you even if you use a proxy.

Simply connecting to a proxy wouldn’t change your location on a browser as the fingerprints can still recognize you. And so websites with premium security systems would be able to detect your real location and note the difference.

1. Launch Chrome on your PC
2. At the top right hand of your screen, you will see three dots. Click on it and select ‘Settings’ from the dropdown menu
3. Click on the ‘Advanced’ option at the left hand and click ‘Privacy and Security’

4. Click on ‘Site Settings’

5. Click on ‘Location’

6. You will see a toggle switch beside ‘Ask before accessing (Recommended)’. Click on it to switch to ‘Blocked’. When ‘Blocked’ is on, the websites would be unable to access your location.
