How to configure proxy server settings in mIRC?
In this article we will guide you on how to set up a proxy on the mIRC interface. Before we proceed with the setup, please make sure you have a running internet connection and your current IP is added in your panel under “Authorized IPs“.
- Run mIRC and click “Tools” then “Options”.
- Under “Connect”, select “Proxy”:
- Fill “Hostname” with proxy IP address and choose option SOCKS5 from protocol. Click “OK”. Note: Leave username and password blank, since our SOCKS5 proxies only works in IP based authentication.
