How to configure proxy settings in Windows Media Player 9.x

In this article we will guide you on how to set up a proxy on your Media Player, before we proceed with the setup, please make sure you have a running internet connection and your current IP is added in your panel under “Authorized IPs“.

Start Windows Media Player.

Select Organize  => Options.

Select the Network tab => Configure

Click on “use the following proxy” and enter the details.

Click OK.
